 KCLAS (Kovai Kalaimagal Arts and Science College) in Coimbatore, does not require any separate entrance exam scores for admission to the BSc programs .

The BSc admission eligibility and process at KCLAS is based on: -

Performance in Class 12 / Higher Secondary Examinations:-
For regular admissions, the candidate should have passed the HSC/+2 or equivalent level exam with required subjects from a recognised board. 

Direct Applications and Selection Process: -
KCLAS conducts its own application process and selection test for admissions. There is no common entrance test score required like JEE Mains etc.

• KCLAS offers BSc in subjects like Computer Science, IT, Microbiology and Biotechnology. The placement focus seems the highest for BSc CS and IT students.
• Major recruiters are IT service companies like Infosys, Wipro, CTS, Tech Mahindra etc. Average salaries are in the 3-4 LPA range.
• Handful of students also get placed at consulting firms like Accenture, EXL, trivial.
  Placement percentage reported is 60-65% overall across CS graduates. Rest opt for higher education.
• For streams like Microbiology, Biotech - limited companies specifically target these subjects at KCLAS presently. Scope mostly for further studies/research or competitive exams.
  While these placement stats are respectable for a smaller town tier-2 college, there is potential to grow by attracting more top companies especially in technology domains  as well as encouraging entrepreneurship amongst Science graduates. The college can have dedicated placement preparation. Overall, BSc graduates at KCLAS have opportunities but need to upskill themselves.

Both B.Sc. in Avionics and B.Sc. in Aeronautics (Mechanical) are offered by Wingsss College of Aviation Technology as undergraduate degree programs that focus on the study of Aeronautics, Aviation Technology, and overall aircraft structure. The difference between the two streams is that Avionics focuses on the electrical and electronic systems of an aircraft, while Mechanical focuses on the engineering physics and materials Science principles to design, analyze, manufacture, and maintain mechanical systems of an aircraft.
However, Avionics has a better career scope than Mechanical, as it includes more opportunities in areas such as Traffic Control, Antenna Maintenance, Control Displays, Aircraft Lighting System, Communication, Navigation System, Weather assistance, Flight safety, Broadcasting related to Aviation, Aeronautical Information Services, etc. The course is highly specialised and much different and better than traditional B.E or B.Tech program.
