Each department like internal medicine, surgery, orthopaedics, obstetrics and gynaecology, paediatrics psychiatry, ophthalmology community medicine, etc. has approximately 3-4 seats.

Placements: Most of the students in the country select medical courses and want to become doctors. NEET is the entrance test for MBBS. About 16 Lacs students sit for the exam and give a tough competition to each other. After completion of the five and a half-year MBBS course, students face another entrance test for post-graduation, and students get a branch according to their rank in the test. The stipend offered during the internship is about 25,000 per month for 1 year, then it goes to about 80,000-90,000...
