According to one source, both B.Sc and M.Sc courses at IHM Bhubaneswar are equally good. However, IHM Kolkata is considered to have better placements than IHM Bhubaneswar.IHM Bhubaneswar offers a B.Sc in Hospitality and Hotel Administration.the college has good campus placements with a minimum salary package.  around 92% of students get placed with an average salary package of around 5 LPA. Some top recruiters include:-Oberoi, Taj, ITC, KFC, Domino's, Club Mahindra.

In this college Almost 98 percent of students got placed.

IHM BHUBANESWAR is better than DRIEMS SCHOOL of hotels management. IHM BHUBANESWAR is a government institute which has better faculty and better educational environment.
