B.Tech biotechnology require 4 years, while B.Sc in biotechnology require 3 years while B.Sc in agriculture requires 4 years.

Biotechnology is a new field relative to other engineering courses. You need to keep this in mind whenever you are considering scope of biotechnology. Next up is jobs.
