Both are good, you should follow your intentions. If you are good at computer programming, it is better to take CSE. Otherwise, mechanical is much better.

Since you have already started studying in Swami Vivekanand Institute of Science and Technology, you must ask this question from your seniors. They will be better equipped and informed to answer this question for you.
My suggestion is that rather than worrying about placements, focus on developing your skills. Do new courses and learn about new technologies. When you are well prepared, you will not have to worry about placements from the college. You can get a job off-campus. All the best!

Well it's a little tough. In our college they will give you grace five marks since your CBSE. But they need a minimum cut off of 195 so if you would have got 190 or even 189 it would have been much easier but nevertheless you fill the form and submit it. You might get selected but it is little tough. If you have any extra curricular activities you might get selected. By the way congrats and all the best.

Hello,
Start researching on the universities. You can check QS world ranking to know about the top or best universities in these countries. Visit their websites and check the individual university admission requirements. You must take GRE and TOEFL or IELTS and to get into the top competitive universities you must score high. At this moment start your research.

Dear Richu, in order to get a successful visa entry in Canada - your course selection should be in relation to your background studies. Since you have completed an MBA, you should not apply for a PG Diploma course or should have a strong reason for it. Lastly you would require an IELTS/TOEFL for getting admission in Canada.
