Hi, this will be difficult to achieve as you have to meet the credit point requirement and check with the desired university about their transfer rule. Instead of complicating and wasting time, you should prepare for GRE and do exceedingly well in your B.Tech to get a spot in the Masters degree programme in these universities.

You can go for IGNOU. You can also prepare for CAT and after that, you can get good colleges if you score well in it so choose according to your priorities.

Technical education courses shouldn't be done through distance course. Firstly in cut throat competition of around 6 lakh mechanical engineers each year you may stand nowhere. Secondly, Supreme Court may take a decision on this.
