Admission in the above mentioned college is not possible without EAMCET. Now, instead of settling down for some mediocre college, it would be better if you try for some good private university. Many reputed private universities are offering B.Tech ME. They have different criteria for admissions. Some offer admission on the basis of JEE scores, some offer admission on basis of their own tests and some offer admission on the basis of both. My strong advise is not to even think of distance education program for doing engineering. Recently, it has been declared illegal by SC. You can think of doing AMIE instead.

After the degree in Mechanical Engineering, learning into USE and get into jobs, this is what I would suggest in first place. If you are willing to pursue Higher Education and not job, then I would suggest doing M.Tech if you want to be a teacher of the subject. You can apply for MBA as well because many engineers make good managers after MBA.

Sorry, but for COEP, you need marks around 150+ for general category in MHTCET for getting a seat in COEP. Since there are lots of reservation quotas, rankings vary with single marks too. 150 will be the least marks for CSE and atleast 170+ are required.
