IIT Hyderabad cutoff 2023 ranks for BTech in Computer Science and Engineering other than General category are mentioned below
- 256 for OBC
- 149 for SC
- 57 for ST
- 95 for EWS
- 53 for PWD
While the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in JEE Advanced, the last cut-offs also change a lot depending on the All India quota or Home State. It also varies if the applicant is a female.

The opening and closing rank for IIT Hyderabad cutoff depends on the category and quota of candidates. For general category under All India, opening rank was 604 and closing rank was 674. Cut off are differant when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 128 and 1300. Admission to B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering in IIT Hyderabad - Indian Institute of Technology is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE Advanced. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut off

The cutoff trend for BTech at IIT Guwahati - Indian Institute of Technology has been increasing in the recent years. In 2022, the closing rank for BTech under general category for all India quota was 589. In 2023, it increased to 654. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from 298 to 267 for OBC, 175 to 173 for SC, 77 to 83 for ST, 103 to 91 for EWS, 37 to 37 for PWD. This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for engineering education in India continues to grow. Similar cut off trend can be seen for female candidates under all categories however the ranks are slightly different.

IIT Guwahati cutoff has been released upto 6 rounds of JEE Advanced cutoffs for admission to BTech. The cutoffs are released on a rolling basis, and the seats are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The cutoffs are based on the following factors:
The JEE Advanced score of the candidate
The category of the candidate
The number of seats available in the course
Candidates must visit the official website of JEE Main entrance exam to read clear instructions on how to proceed with the JoSAA counselling process, once the round is released.

IIT Guwahati cut off rank in Round 6 for BTech. in Computer Science and Engineering is 654 which is very close to this range. This was for general category under All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one can not afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cut offs keep changing from round to round, better ranks definitely increases your chances of getting admission in IIT Guwahati - Indian Institute of Technology.

IIT Guwahati cutoff 2023 for General category candidates in All India quota for BTech in Computer Science and Engineering . For female candidates in general category under All India quota, 1718 was the closing rank. BTech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.
IIT Guwahati admissions 2024 are based on JEE Main 2024 ranks followed by JEE Advanced ranks and further followed by JoSAA Counselling. Candidates seeking admission to IIT Guwahati BTech course must appear for JEE Main and JEE Advanced in order to be eligible for further admission process.

The Periyar Maniammai Institute of Science and Technology average package is not released on the official website. However, the median package is available. The median package offered to the BTech batch 2018-22 was INR 2.30 LPA, whereas, in 2021 the median package stood at INR 2.25 LPA. When comparing the placement details from 2020 to 2022 drives, year-on-year growth was recorded in the BTech median package. A total of 232 BTech students graduated in 2022. Out of these, 134 students were placed successfully during 2022 placements. Earlier, 134 out of 256 BTech students were placed during the 2021 placement session. Looking at the past three years' statistics, the number of BTech students that have been placed dropped from 2020 to 2021 and for 2021 and 2022 the count has been the same.
