Class 12 grades and JEE Main scores are used to determine admission to SASTRA University's B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering degree. The allocation of 30% of the seats is based on JEE Main results (75% weightage) and Class 12 marks (25% weightage), whereas 70% of the seats are based on Class 12 grades. 

Candidates can verify if they satisfy the requirements by logging into their admission portal, but the cutoff details are not made public for each course separately.

A suitable diploma (such as mechanical, civil, etc.) or a B.Sc. (Mathematics) with at least 45% of the possible points is usually required for lateral entry into the B.Tech. Production Engineering program. In order to apply, you would have to take part in state-level entrance examinations or counseling; the requirements for lateral entry admissions vary by state. Although each college has a different lateral entrance threshold, generally speaking, getting into a reputable school requires doing well academically on your diploma or degree.

The total tuition fee for a four-year BTech course at the Sunder Deep Engineering College ranges between INR 2.1 Lakhs to INR 3 Lakhs depending on the specialisation of BTech in which the student is interested. BTech is one of the flagship courses provided at Sri Sairam Engineering College. The total tuition fees for the BTech course is around INR 2 Lacs to 2.5 Lacs. The course is offered in full-time mode for 4 years. SSREC Chennai admissions are both merit and entrance-based. The college considers Class 12 score for BE/ BTech programme. The college offers courses at UG and PG levels in Engineering and Management streams. Interested candidates can fill out the admission form on the official website.

Both Manipal University and Woxsen University have their strength, but honestly, Manipal University would be a better choice among both for B.Tech in Computer Science. Manipal has been around for decades and has a strong reputation in the industry with good infrastructure, experienced faculty, and placement opportunities. You'll find a vibrant campus life, tons of extracurriculars, and a solid peer network.

Woxsen, on the other hand, is newer and growing but still doesn't match Manipal's legacy in engineering in many terms. It's good for business programs and may be become better but for CS, Manipal is more established. If yo
