Class 12 grades and JEE Main scores are used to determine admission to SASTRA University's B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering degree. The allocation of 30% of the seats is based on JEE Main results (75% weightage) and Class 12 marks (25% weightage), whereas 70% of the seats are based on Class 12 grades.

BTech is one of the flagship courses provided at Sri Sairam Engineering College. The total tuition fees for the BTech course is around INR 2 Lacs to 2.5 Lacs. The course is offered in full-time mode for 4 years. SSREC Chennai admissions are both merit and entrance-based.
