IIT BHU cutoff 2023 ranks for BTech in Computer Science Engineering other than General category are mentioned below:

  • 359 for OBC
  • 284 for SC
  • 107 for ST
  • 138 for EWS
  • 57 for PWD

While the admissions are based on the scores/ rank obtained in JEE Advanced, the last cut offs also change a lot depending on All India quota or Home State. It also varies if the applicant is a female.

Opening and Closing rank for BTech in Computer Science Engineering at IIT BHU Varanasi depends on the category and quota of candidates. For general category under All India, opening rank was 1010 and closing rank was 1079. Cut off are differant when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 329 and 2275. IIT BHU cut off 2023 was 1079 for General category candidates in All India quota for BTech in Computer Science Engineering. IIT BHU admission 2023 to BTech course is based on JEE Advanced scores followed by JoSAA Counselling 2023. Candidates seeking admission to IIT BHU must have a valid JEE Advanced scores for further processing of admission.

Also, the closing rank for IIT BHU cutoff 2023 for BTech CSE for female candidates in general category under All India quota was 2275. BTech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/ quota of the applicant.

A candidate must have passed Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology with at least 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for reserved category candidates) to be eligible for the B.Tech programme offered by Maharaja Agrasen University, and for Lateral Entry, the candidate must have passed a Diploma in a relevant stream with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for reserved category candidates) in aggregate.

Yes, Agni College of Technology offers admission to a three-year BTech (Lateral Entry) course. For admission to BTech (LE), candidates can directly apply for the second year of the course. Before applying for the course, aspirants must pass either Class 12 or Diploma with minimum 50% aggregate with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as main subjects. Admission to this course is done through TNEA Counselling process.

In order to get admission to BTech course at Agni College of Technology, candidates must pass the minimum eligibility criteria in the first place. Candidates who passed Class 12 with minimum 50% aggregate in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as main subjects are eligible to apply for this course. Although admission to BE/ BTech programme at TIET is conducted through JEE Main.  Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology accepts JEE Main scores as well as merit for admisison to the BE/ BTech courses. Based on the JEE Main score and Class 12 scores, candidates are then called for the TIET Counselling process.
