IIT Kanpur - Indian Institute of Technology will release 6 rounds of JEE Advanced cutoffs for admission to B.Tech. The cutoffs will be released on a rolling basis, and the seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The cutoffs will be based on the following factors: The JEE Advanced score of the candidate The category of the candidate The number of seats available in the course Candidates must visit the official website of entrance exam to read clear instructions on how to proceed with the counselling process, once the round is released.

The cut off rank in Round 6 for B.Sc. in Chemistry is 11824 which is very close to this range. This was for general category under All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one can not afford to score less than this.
