IIIT Dharwad campus is spread across 60 acres of land. Earlier the campus was situated at IT Park Hubli. The campus is well-equipped with several facilities to fulfil the needs of students and staff. Additional facilities at IIIT Dharwad campus include activity/club rooms, a music room, a canteen, an e-Bank, a salon and a small shop for essential supplies. It must be noted that the students are not allowed to have any motor vehicles on campus. For the ease of differently-abled students, easy access is provided to all the academic and hostel buildings. If you're choosing between VIT Vellore and IIIT Dharwad, go with VIT unless you have a very specific reason not to. It's got way better infrastructure, more companies come for placements, and the median salary's higher too; around ?9.9 LPA compared to Dharwad's ?7.2 LPA. VIT also has a bigger campus
