Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University will release 6-8 rounds of JEE Main cutoffs for admission to B.Tech. The cutoffs will be released on a rolling basis, and the seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The cutoffs will be based on the following factors:

  • The JEE Main score of the candidate
  • The category of the candidate
  • The number of seats available in the course

Candidates must visit the official website of the entrance exam to read clear instructions on how to proceed with the counselling process, once the round is released.

GGSIPU cutoff 2023 ranks for BTech +MTech in ECE at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University other than the General category are - 141825 for SC, 310065 for ST, and 47219 for EWS. While the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in JEE exam, the last cut-offs also change a lot depending on the All India quota or Home State. It also varies if the applicant is a female.

The cutoff trend for BTech + MTech in CSE at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University has seen a deccreasing trend in recent years. In 2022, the closing rank for BTech under the general category for all India quota was 15339. In 2023, it decreased to 9. Likewise, the cut-off ranks have changed from 80153 to 55943 for SC, and 150924 to 174159 for ST. This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for engineering education in India continues to grow. A similar cut-off trend can be seen for female candidates under all categories however the ranks are slightly different.

Marks required to get in SGSITS may vary according to your category and gender. If you are from general category and have 90+ percentile you can easily get in. For reserved category it would be lesser. For top branches like CS and IT would be 96+ percentile

For last year, the closing rank for BTech +M.Techin Computer Science Engineering was 15339 which is very close to this range. This was for the general category under the All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one cannot afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cut-offs keep changing year on year, it's advisable to try to score better ranks to increase your chances of getting admission to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.

Admissions to BTech + MTech are based on the marks secured in the JEE Main entrance exam. As per the latest cutoff ranks available for BTech +MTech in Chemical Engineering, the general category ranks are 81426 for OBC, 224720 for SC, 390021 for ST, and 101883 for EWS. While the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in the JEE exam, the last cut-offs also change a lot depending on the All India quota or Home State. It also varies if the applicant is a female.

For 2022, cut off was 87361 for General category candidates in the All India quota for Discontinued (Feb 2023) -BTech in Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning) in RGPV - Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya. For female candidates in the general category under All India quota 0 was the closing rank. BTech cut-off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.

The processes are very complicated in manner to join the college. 

  1. Eligibility Criteria: candidates seeking admission to JSSTU must fulfill the eligibility criteria specified by the VTU. Generally applicants should have completed their 10+2 or PUC education in silence stream with pass percentage of marks.
