Best college for engineering in Mysuru with modern, huge and green campus.

Placements: As of now, when I asked seniors who are currently in 4th year, half of them are already placed who are eligible, with the highest package of around 30 LPA. According to seniors, if you are eligible, the college would help its best for students to get placed with proper training and practice.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good with all basic facilities and services available like Wi-Fi enabled campus, digital library, sport grounds, gym, prayer hall with greenery and cleanliness maintained all around campus. Hostel is good at the price they offer with decent food, as everyone’s taste differs.

Faculty: As a fresher I don't have much experience of semester exams, but internals and lab marks depend on the faculty, and almost every faculty is highly qualified and they give maximum marks, but still few strict teachers give very less. Attendance is 85 percent from college side. It lacks only in digital, like it doesn't have its own app, but it’s not a big problem.

Placements: The placements of this college are good. The average package of this college is around 10 to 11 LPA, and the median package of this college is around 9 LPA. If you are in CSE-related branches, you can expect around 11 to 12 LPA. The major recruiting companies are JustPay, Wipro and many more.

Infrastructure: The hostel and college infrastructure are good, but the building is now outdated because it is an old-established college. This college was established around the 1970s. The campus is well-maintained, and it's a lush green campus, and you get full campus Wi-Fi coverage.

Faculty: Teachers are all very helpful and well-qualified. They always make themselves available to address your problems. Most of them are PhD holders and are well-knowledgeable. The teaching quality is also good. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. Most of the students pass the semester exams.

Other: The campus is lush green, and the college organises a fest called Jaicyana.

If you are on the right path, the college helps you a lot by giving many opportunities.

Placements: I am currently in the Information Science and Engineering branch. So far, I see that both Computer Science and Information Science are almost similar in subjects, as informed by seniors. Regarding placements, if a student works hard and improves skills, they can definitely get placed here, as many companies visit our college. The highest package is 52 LPA, and the average is 10 LPA. The placement rate on the website is more than 90% in our college.

Infrastructure: Facilities in our campus are good. The only problem is that there are no charging ports in classroom benches. Labs and libraries are well-equipped. We have three types of libraries in our college. First is the normal library, where we can find many books. Second is the digital library, where we can access soft copies of books. Third is the reference library, where we can also find books.

Faculty: Teachers in college are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They guide well and are always available to help students. Except for a few teachers, the remaining are all good. The 1st-year curriculum is not very useful because all subjects are from class 12, and in further years, they are not actually useful. In the 1st year, all branch subjects are included. Obviously, all colleges are like this, and one needs to think that one year will be spent here.

Other: I am from the Information Science and Engineering branch. I am actually interested in computers, so I chose to join Information Science and Engineering. There are many clubs to join as part of extracurricular activities.

Placements: There is a dedicated placement and training department in our college which takes care of our placements. The placement for students starts in the 5th semester, and many reputed companies come to our college for recruitment. More than 65 percent of the final-year students get placed every year.

Infrastructure: The college has facilitated two hostels for students, our hostel has good facilities and Wi-Fi. The course here is academically excellent, providing good technical domain knowledge to students. Our college has the best infrastructure in the city, it has several playgrounds, labs with the latest instruments etc.

Faculty: The faculty of our department are very friendly and helpful, they assist us in all matters. The exams here are held in a very strict manner, and students are to adhere to strict rules, else the students will be fined and punished if they are proven guilty.

A good college with a lot of potential.

Placements: The median placement for the 2025 batch is above 10 LPA. The highest is 56 LPA. Most students who are placed receive offers after their internships. The percentage of students placed is more than 25%. Even companies like Google and Microsoft recruit from this college.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure for the Computer Science and ISE departments is good. The college lacks a good auditorium and swimming pool, but overall the campus gives a kind of NIT vibe. The classrooms in the CS department are good. The cricket and football grounds are great. There are many canteens on the campus.

Faculty: Faculty is good, better than most private colleges in Bangalore. The curriculum for CSE is outdated. If you want a good curriculum, then the best course is CSBS. I have still not given any semester-end exams, but the CIEs are easy. Overall, the first year is not hectic.

Other: In COMEDK, this college is fourth after the top three (RV, MSRIT, BMS). In terms of college life, it is the best among the top COMEDK colleges.

local placement is decent, teaching is decent, overall exposure/brand is Not as Esteem-able as BMSCE/MSRIT/Amrita.
