After completing your 12th grade, you can sit for the Joint Entrance Exam or the entrance exams conducted by specific universities or institutions. Your admission to your preferred colleges or universities will be based on your score in these exams, the availability of seats, and the score you achieve in the entrance exam. Some institutions also offer admissions under the management quota, which allows you to gain admission without appearing in the entrance exam. For engineering courses, you need to have a Senior Secondary Certificate with Science. If you don’t have this, you can pursue a Diploma based on your 10th grade qualifications, and then opt for lateral entry into Engineering.

In the corporate world,  regular BTech degrees are generally preferred over distance learning BTech degrees for several reasons like 

• Regular BTech programs involve rigorous coursework, extensive lab work, and close interaction with faculty, ensuring a comprehensive and in-depth learning experience. This translates to stronger technical skills and knowledge, which are highly valued by employers.
• Distance learning BTech programs, while potentially offering flexibility, may raise concerns about the quality of education and practical training received. The lack of hands-on lab experience and limited faculty interaction can impact the development of essential engineering skills.
