The ICFAI University Raipur BTech admission is merit-based + PI. The selection process for the BTech course involves the application process, followed by the interview. In addition, the university has assigned weightage to different components while selecting candidates for the BTech course. The weightage is given to academic distinction, awards in sports/cultural events, debates, quizzes, and other extracurricular activities. Further, candidates are called for the interview process.

You must research well on your part about the college coursework structure. See the course fees, teaching faculty expertise, hands-on training opportunities, placements,  and alumni feedback, which serve as a testimony for the reputation and ranking of the college.
Only after proper research and analysis should you take the final call for admission at the college, as the 4-year academic ride would be a stepping stone to a fulfilling career journey ahead. Make sure you make it count. Best wishes!

The syllabus for BTech in Mechatronics Engineering is a mix of both core and elective subjects. The core subject modules are compulsory for you to study in each semester because they give you foundational knowledge of the field, leaving little to no scope for customization.

Talking about the elective subjects in particular, you can pick the subjects based on your interests and understanding - the ones that seem easy to understand and fun to explore, can help you score good marks, and are relevant as per market demands.

You should start your preparation as early as possible, at least 6 to 8 months before the final exam is scheduled to take place, so that you have enough time in hand to go through all the syllabus sections, cover high-weightage exam topics on priority, practice previous years' question papers, attempt mock tests, and have time for revision at the end.
