Simply fee structure is different and placement guarantees in private colleges and not in government colleges. The faculty will give good internals and government college exam correction is very strict.

Aliah University allows students to get admission on the merit basis, still preference is given to the students having a rank in the related entrance examinations.
For B.Tech CSE the accepted examinations are: WBJEE and JEE
There is no such cuttoff for the admission, the students get admission based on their rank in WBJEE. If you have got rank 4000-6000 you have a great chance to get seat in the University.
