Well, when it comes to customizing the BTech Production Engineering syllabus according to your interests, you must keep in mind that the core subjects included in the coursework pattern are mandatory for you to study in each semester because they are meant to give you a foundational base for the field.

Having said that, you are given a plethora of elective choices at every college where you can pick the subjects you find interesting, easy to grasp, and intriguing to explore. So, the elective subject choices do give you little scope for customizing your Production Engineering syllabus for the BTech degree.

In India, B.Tech in Bioinformatics is generally a better option for jobs compared to Integrated B.Tech + M.Tech in Biotechnology because it combines biology with computer science, making it easier to get jobs in IT, pharma, and data-related roles, which are growing fast. While biotechnology is more research-focused and often needs higher studies for good jobs, bioinformatics offers quicker job opportunities and better flexibility. The jobs in biotechnology are generally low pay, so bioinformatics seems a better option job wise.  Otherwise both are good in their respective roles.

No, candidates are not allowed to get direct admissions to BTech courses at ACS College of Engineering. For the admission process, the college requires candidates to achieve valid scores in any of the entrance exams from CET/ COMED-K/ JEE Mains, followed by counselling. Therefore, ACS College of Engineering BTech admission is entrance-based. However, the college does provide management quota seats for BTech students.
