Hey, choosing between VIT, LPU, and SRM for B.Tech is tough—they're all solid private unis with good infra and placements. VIT and SRM shine in brand value and southern networks, but LPU edges out for me with its massive campus and industry-focused vibe.
LPU's 4-year B.Tech (like CSE, AI/ML) has updated curriculum vetted by pros from IBM and others, plus hands-on projects and labs across 8 semesters. Eligibility's straightforward—10+2 with Physics/Math, via LPUNEST/JEE/CUET—and scholarships cut fees big time.
Placements rock too, with high packages up to 28 LPA in CSE, and centers of excellence for real-world skills. No shade

You have two simple options:
1. Start after Class 12 – Once you finish your plus two, you can directly join a filmmaking or editing course. Many students choose this route because they can begin their creative training early.
2. Start after Engineering – If you prefer to complete B.Tech first, you can still pursue editing later. Your engineering background won't stop you at all.
In both cases, AAFT is a good fit because the training is fully practical. You learn by doing—working on real shoots, editing actual projects, and gaining hands-on experience from day one.
