Students with a bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science (4-year programme) with at least 75 percent marks/7.5 CGPA and a valid GATE score can also apply.
NITs	B Tech Mechanical Engineering	Students must have passed Class 12 from any recognized board with a minimum of 75% marks in 2 subjects which are Physics & Maths as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational subjects. There is no particular age limit for admission.
	M Tech in Mechanical Engineering	Students must have passed Bachelor's degree with at least 60% marks. Students should secure 6.5 CGPA or 60% for GEN-EWS, whereas 6.0 CGPA or 55% in case of PwD Students. They must have a valid GATE score of the year 2023 / 2024 / 2025.
	PhD Mechanical Engineering	Students must have got 60% marks in M Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Students passed B.Tech (with valid GATE) in Mechanical Engg with at least 75% marks under GEN/ OBC-NCL/ GEN-EWS category or 70% under SC/ ST/ PwD category are also eligible.
