However, according to Jamia Hamdard Engineering NIRF report 2023, a total of 175 students were placed out of 255 students during Jamia Hamdard BTech placements 2022. The total tuition fee for BTech at Jamia Hamdard ranges between INR 7 Lacs and INR 8.8 lakh. BTech in Electronics and Communication Engineering is an AICTE-approved programme at FIEM. Candidates, who have passed class 12th with a minimum of 45% with a valid score in JEE Mains or WBJEE are eligible to pursue the programme. Candidates have to pay an approximately fees of INR 4.06 Lacs for the programme.

FIEM offers AICTE-approved BTech programmes. The institute also offers BTech programme in lateral entry mode. Candidates who are interested in pursuing lateral entry programmes at FIEM should have a valid Diploma in a relevant field. Candidates should have also appeared for JELET .

In all private college has same criteria so the Delhi Maritime Academy has also same criteria that is 45% in 10+2 with Chemistry, Physics, And Mathematics . The student should be appear in the JEE exam which is yearly conducted.
Till the 2023 the Delhi Maritime Academy has the same criteria.

To get a B.Tech degree from Navrachana University, you need to meet the following requirements:
- Finish high school (10+2) with at least 50% marks in any subject.
- Score at least 45% marks in your Class 12 exams (or 40% if you belong to a reserved category).
- If you completed a 3-year Diploma after 10th grade, you can also apply.
- For half of the available seats in the program, which are for students from Gujarat, you'll need to apply through ACPC (Admission Committee for Professional Courses) of the Gujarat government. They'll decide based on a merit list.
- You should have taken exams like JEE (Main) or GUJCET.
