IUST Awantipora has not yet released the official report on BTech placements for 2024. However, the university's NIRF report 2024 contains the median pacakge offered to BTech students in 2023, which was INR 5.4 LPA. In 2022, the median package offered to BTech students at Islamic University of Science and Technology was INR 4.8 LPA. Top recruiters of the university include HDFC Bank, KPMG, HCL INFOSYSTEMS, etc. The median package for BTech courses increased by nearly 7% in 2022 when compared with 2021.

For B.Tech admissions through CUET, consider Central Universities like Delhi University (DU), Banaras Hindu University (BHU), and Central University of Karnataka (CUK), along with state universities like Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) and Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (BBAU).

Yes, it is worth pursuing BTech at IIMT Studies Kochi as it is one of the renowned colleges in Kerala to offer quality education to students in the field of Engineering. Among the best B.Tech colleges in India with total fees under Rs.6 Lacs include NIT Jamshedpur, which is approximately Rs. 5 lakh, NIT Hamirpur, which is about Rs. 5.5 lakh, and Jadavpur University, which is considerably less than Rs. 2 lakh.
Among the state-run colleges are College of Engineering, Pune (COEP), which charges maybe around Rs. 3-4 lakh. Other BIT Mesra extension campuses might also get included in Rs. 6 lakh. Besides, state universities like Anna University (Rs.2-3 lakh) and Punjab Engineering College (PEC) Chandigarh (around Rs.5 lakh) are also strong in terms of quality education.

Admission into BIT BE programme takes place through the COMEDK UGET entrance exam. Candidates who want to secure admission into the programme must meet the eligibility criteria and then apply for the entrance exam to stand a chance in securing admission into the programme. The eligibility criteria is a minimum aggregate of 45% in Class 12. The COMEDK UGET entrance exam takes place in the first week of May and the results are announced in the last week of May.
