Yes, Bannari Amman Institute of Technology (BAIT) Coimbatore was ranked in the Engineering category by India Today. It secured #93 position in the 2023 India Today-rankings. As per this ranking, it was also the 10th best college among India Today-ranked colleges in Tamil Nadu in 2023.

The total tuition fees for BTech at BAIT Coimbatore is INR 2 lakh for all the offered BTech programmes. However, the tuition fees at GCT Coimbatore ranges from INR 31,400 to INR 2 lakh. Considering this, there economical BTech specialisations at GCT. However, it is one of the component and the total course fee is inclusive of other components as well. Students must note that the fee amount mentioned here is as per the official website/sanctioning body. It is however still subject to changes and hence, is indicative.

Both the Bannari Amman Institute of Technology (BAIT) and Sri Krishna College of Technology (SKCT) are known Engineering institutes in Coimbatore. The BTech course tuition fees is INR 2 Lacs at both the institutes. Hence, both are equally economical. Apart from this, BAIT Coimbatore is ranked #93 by India Today. Additionally, SKCT is ranked #151-200 in the NIRF 2024 rankings. As per the latest brochure of Bannari Amman Institute of Technology, the overall the highest package offered at the institute stood at INR 21 LPA.

Bannari Amman Institute of Technology (BAIT) Coimbatore has 240 seats in the Artificial Intelligence and Data Science course. It is one of the popular programmes currently. The seat allotment process for the UG course is carried out through TNEA counselling. Aspirants have to participate in the counselling to get a seat.
