Of course, Amrita is quite a good one but IIT's were considered as the institutes of national importance.
Also, reputation and opportunities were high in IIT's
so it's completely your decision as per your interest and situation.

Hi,
Film making is an intensive process and hence a course in direction and film making is very demanding. It is usually a full time course and it is recommended to pursue it through full time mode only if you seriously want a career as a film maker. Top colleges that offer film making course in India are:
