You can prepare for Mass Communication entrance exams which are basically general aptitude test. You need to practice your mathematical skills, analytical skills, English language and General Knowledge. You can either go for a coaching institute or you can also refer to entrance exam books available in the market. Admissions for MS in USA is normally based on your academics but it's not only this. There are many other things that too are considered. Proficiency in English, your previous academic records, etc. There are many nuances. It is best if you could approach an agency that deals with sending students to the USA.

The admission criteria is totally based on CAT entrance exam. First of all, you need to crack your CAT exams with a maximum of 90% and after that, the interview and group discussion will sort out all your problems and there is no work experience needed for admission in IIM-Ahmedabad.
