Hi Shivangi, mass media was introduced in university of Mumbai in 2001 and in Mithibai College. It was introduced in 2012-13, as academic year course known as Bachelors of mass media (BMM). So, yes Mithibai College has mass media course and the college is one of the finest college in Mumbai and India. I read that you have a great passion for your studies. Chandigarh University is private institution, according to eligibility criteria, you need to score 50% marks in class 12th and they may take an admission test (just a formality).

Sorry, but there is no good or famous government institution in Mumbai for Bachelors in Mass Communication. You are eligible to apply for two famous mass communication colleges, department of mass communication (Mumbai University) and Xavier's Institute (private) of journalism only after your 3 year graduation course. However, you can optioned for Xavier College for BA in mass media.
