Hi,
The first thing that comes to my mind by the word chef is passion, to work as a chef one has to be very passionate. To start a good career in food Production or to be a chef you should have a Degree in hospitality or hotel management or a diploma in same. Basically, you should be a hospitality graduate and then you can get into a management trainee program and after the completion of the program you will be a JR. SOUS CHEF but to reach to this level you have to have very good knowledge about food and all the basic and non-basic terms and methods of cooking.

To become a chef you must have a professional culinary training. To start your career as a chef, you must complete your class X to join the Diploma course in food craft. In order to opt for a degree course in culinary arts, one must complete 10+2 in any stream.
