Indeed if there are still openings after regular counseling, you can apply for direct admission to the Bansal Institute of Science and Technology (BIST), Bhopal B.Tech programme via the management quota or through college-level counseling. Although MP DTE counseling and JEE Main scores are typically used to determine admission, students who have not taken the JEE Main exam may also be taken into account under the institute-level quota. AICTE-required percentages in Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology and Computer Science must be met in Class 12 in order to be eligible.

 Fee for the first year of the Master of Technology (M.Tech) course is approximately INR 30,000.

Up to March 2025, the Bansal Institute of Science and Technology (BIST) in Bhopal took the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) tests but didn't make it to published ranks.  The NIRF evaluates universities on teaching, learning, and resources, research and professional practices, outcomes of graduation, outreach and inclusiveness, and perception.  BIST provided data for these ratings, but it never made it to the top-ranked institutions list.

The Bansal Institute of Science and Technology (BIST) 2024 JEE Main cutoff has not yet been formally announced. In prior years the engineering branch, candidate category and state quota all had a significant impact on cutoff ranks and scores. Popular fields like computer Science and engineering, for example, frequently have higher rank requirements whilst other fields might have somewhat lower cutoff points. There is no such rank for Bansal Institute of Science and Technology in B.Tech Civil Engineering. It is a AICTE approved college and The institute secured the 176th position at the national level. You can join this college based on above grading. Also BIST was ranked in the Silver Band with a B+ grade by R World Institutional Ranking.
