BCA Eligibility

Candidates who have passed Class 10 and Class 12 with at least 50% aggregate along with Mathematics/ Computer Science/ Information Technology as one of the major subjects in Class 12 can apply for the BCA course. Aspirants meeting the eligibility requirements can apply for any of the BCA specialisation. Candidates can choose the specialisation of their choice in the second year of the course. BCA is available in three specialisations, namely Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security and Internet of Things. Additionally, candidates will be shortlisted for BCA based on CUET UG score. Aspirants who have not appeared for the entrance exam can come for personal interview round. After completion of the selection rounds, aspirants need to pay course fee to confirm their seat in the university. The total tuition fee for BCA ranges between INR 3.42 Lacs and INR 4.82 Lacs as per an unofficial source.

In order to get admission to a full-time three-year course at Chandigarh University, candidates are required to fulfil the basic requirements for Chandigarh University BCA eligibility criteria as per the university norms. Those who want to apply for BCA at Chandigarh University must pass Class 12 with a minimum of 50-55% aggregate in the respective discipline as per the minimum eligibility criteria. It’s a mandatory step to qualify before applying for the course. The university offers a three-year Bachelor of Computer Applications (General) course and a separate BCA course with two other specialisations.

Further, Chandigarh University BCA admissions are completely driven by the candidate's scores obtained in the CUCET entrance exam. This is an in-house entrance exam of Chandigarh University, which is mandatory to qualify by every aspirant for BCA at CU.

A pass in Class 12 in any stream with at least 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for SC/ ST/ OBC-A/ OBC-B/ PwD) is required to apply for the Brainware University BCA course. Reservation policies of the Department of Higher Education, West Bengal will be followed for admission in reserved seats for SC/ ST/ OBC-A/ OBC-B/ PwD. Candidates must hold the documents required for verification at the later stages of admission. In case an aspirant is unable to prove his or her eligibility during document verification, his or her admission stands cancelled. Additionally, Brainware University admission to BCA course is based on Brainware Eligibility Test or BET score. 

A pass in Class 12 with Mathematics at Class 10 level with at least 50% aggregate is required to apply for TMU BCA course. Admission to BCA course is based on merit in the last qualifying exam or CUET UG score. Candidates must hold the documents proving their eligibility for verification at later stages of admission.
