Teerthanker Mahaveer University Highlights 2023
Teerthanker Mahaveer University, also known as TMU is a Jain Minority State Private University located in Moradabad. The University was established in 2008 under Act No. 30. TMU is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and is accredited with a “B++” grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). In 2020, TMU was ranked 54th for private MBA by the Times, and apart from this, it was also ranked 58th for BBA by India Today in 2019.
It is a multi-disciplinary university as it offers UG, PG and doctoral courses across diverse streams such as Medical, Dental, Pharmacy, Engineering, Education, Architecture, Polytechnic, Management, Law, Journalism, Fine Arts and many more. The University offers admission to Indian as well as international students. These programmes are offered under 20 on-campus colleges. Apart from this, the University is also associated with a multi-specialty hospital with more than 1,000 beds.
The campus area of TMU is spread over 180 acres of land, which is located in NH-24, 144 km away from New Delhi. The campus is well-equipped with all basic facilities, including hostels, cafeteria, labs, library, sports complex, internet and many more. The University has five hostel blocks in total with two hostels for boys and three hostels for girls accommodating in all 4,600 students in each. Apart from this, TMU also provides bus facility services to its students.
