So, you'll have to check the website of the college in which you want to pursue your BCA. The general eligibility criteria for most of the colleges is that a candidate must score at least 45% in their +2. If you can satisfy these criteria then you can easily get admission into BCA.

For Christ University you need to score at least 50% in your +2. A candidate can be from any stream in order to pursue BCA from Christ. You might have to give an entrance exam and personal interview at the time of admission. If you can satisfy these requirements then you can pursue BCA very easily. These criteria are very easy to fulfill.

So, you will have to find that university which can provide you admission. The general eligibility is that if you can score atleast 45% in +2 then you can easily pursue BCA regardless of your +2 stream.

If you are a Science Student, then your first priority should be to go for B.Tech in CSE/IT. If you can get admission into B.Tech, then you should definitely pursue B.Tech without giving it a second thought. And, if you aren't eligible for B.Tech, then BCA is also a good course to pursue and enter into IT Industry. For admission into BCA you need to score at least 45% in your +2, if you can score and meet this criteria then you can get admission very easily. The scope of any course depends upon the caliber of the candidate.
