B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2027

Good college if you are not getting admission to any IIT, NIT or IIIT, then you can consider KIIT.
Placements: Almost 80–90% of students get more than 8 lakh packages. The highest package is 65 lacs. Five students get this offer; the lowest package is 4 lacs, and the average package is 10 lacs. Yuga byte, Atlassian, Deloitte, JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs, etc. are the top recruiters. More than 90% students get internships at companies like High Radius, Deloitte, Atlassian, Microsoft, etc.
Infrastructure: The college looks like a city; it has a huge campus covering 700 acres and the labs are the same. In the first year, there will be some restrictions but in the second year, you will be free to go everywhere. Mess food is good but not like home food.
Faculty: All teachers are Ph.D.s from the best colleges in our country. Yes, this course is relevant, and yes, it makes the students industry-ready. The exam is tough but if you get your internal marks, then your overall percentage is good. The average passing percentage is 85%. College is good but Bhubaneswar is a very hot place, so be ready to get tanned. KIIT is also famous for campus placement, which is between 95 and 97%.
Other: I chose computer science because I love cybersecurity. I think some more hackathons should be arranged in college. Fest is amazing.

Master of Business Administration (MBA) - Batch of 2024

Whatever students want is provided here.
Placements: The placement is very good as compared with other B-schools. The highest salary package till now is 18 LPA, and the lowest is 9 LPA. Top companies like PWC, DELOITTE, ADANI, ARETEANS, HIGH RADIUS, PROTIVITY, ICICI BANK and much more have different job roles across all streams.
Infrastructure: All classrooms and hostels are air-conditioned with proper 24-hour WI-FI support. The best part is that our library continues to publish all sorts of books by top authors. We have smart TVs as a system, which is not present in most of the B-schools right now.
Faculty: Most helpful and supportive teachers and faculty a student can get, covering all the courses required by the industry. One notable good point is that the faculty members provide real-world, hands-on experience to clear up all the concepts and give us real-life experience.

My 1.5 years experience at KIIT.
Placements: In the 2023 placement drive, 90% of the students have been placed to date. The average package this year was something around 7 LPA. The highest package was offered by Yugobyte at 63 LPA. The median package at the college is 10–11 LPA, as per my friends and professors. The major recruiters this year are Capgemini and Bosch Global. Capgemini took around 346 students this year, whereas Bosch Global took 242 students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very well maintained. You will find the most beautiful building and park at the college. My campus, where classes happened in my first year, was campus 17, which is very beautiful. The labs in Kiit are top-notch; you will find all types of equipment. The CS lab is also very nice; you will find cubicle-type labs, which are just like working in an office. Hostels are also very good. You will find very large hostels in Kiit that can easily fit 1000 students for example: first-year hostel, Kp 7 Ab.
Faculty: All the faculty members in Kiit are very well qualified. Almost 75% of the teachers you will find here are Ph.D. holders from IITs. Some did there Masters in the USA. The course curriculum is average, the same as all Indian engineering colleges. In the first year, you have to learn all types of subjects from physics, chemistry, math, mechanical engineering, etc. Exams are not difficult; just answer important questions given by teachers and previous years.

MBA in Business Analytics (Big Data) - Batch of 2024
4.6
4Placements5Infrastructure5Faculty5Crowd & Campus Life4Value for Money
One of the best B-Schools in India.
Placements: For the 2024 passing batch, as of now, more than 150 students have been placed in various specializations, including marketing, finance, operations, and business analytics. Some of the firms include Protiviti, Deloitte, Micron, Arameans, Synchrony, etc. All these organizations have recruited for various analytics roles, such as data consultants. For summer internships, most of the students bagged a stipend of INR 15000–20000 per month and a few earned more than INR 45,000.
Infrastructure: KSOM has been ranked among the top premier institutes in the country for its infrastructure and course curriculum. The entire campus is surrounded by greenery. All the classrooms and halls are equipped with smart LED systems for classes. Most of the faculty members are from IIMs and other premium business schools in the country. We have a separate hostel for management students and the mess is only 50 meters away from the hostel premises. The food served is of good quality.
Faculty: The teachers not only support us in academics but also encourage us to take part in various other events and activities that are scheduled from time to time on campus and across the university. For the MBA program, a student needs to appear for 4-semester examinations. The first two semesters are common for every enrolled student and the final year is dedicated to subjects as per the chosen specialization. An overall CGPA of 6 is required in every subject to pass the examination.
Other: I have completed my Bachelors in Civil Engineering from KIIT University and I am aware of the opportunities and scope it provides for the overall growth of an individual. I would also like to add to the unique initiatives of the mentor-mentee programme and Konfidant sessions. In mentor-mentee sessions, I was not only able to discuss academic-related concerns but also other difficulties and challenges that we face in our lives. In college, we get an opportunity to interact with professionals coming from diverse industries, where we get to know about the trends and requirements in those industries so that we can prepare for them.

KIIT - a soul of the future.
Placements: Last year, about 99% of students were placed in my course (Information Technology). The highest package offered was about Rs 52 lac pa and the lowest was Rs 10 lac pa. The top recruiting companies are Google, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, etc. About 80% of students got internships. The top roles offered are web developer, software developer, and analyst.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are well equipped with smartboards, whiteboards, ventilation, AC, cameras and benches. The entire campus has access to Wi-Fi connectivity. The libraries are equipped with ACs and different kinds of books. The hostels are well maintained and cleaned from time to time. The food quality is decent. The medical facilities are superb, serving you 24 hours a day. The scope of sports games is also very good. You can participate in each and every kind of sport.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is also good. The course curriculum is relevant and up-to-date. This makes the students industry-ready. The semester exams are moderate in level and the pass percentage is 40%. The students will get a good placement and the record is 100% placement as well.
Other: I chose this course as this is a technologically advanced world where more technologically advanced people are required for the betterment of this world. The campus life at KIIT is one of the best things that you can always brag about. It has the best festivals and events. The campus life is good. You'll get to participate in a lot of extracurricular activities. Scholarships are also available for students with a certain CGPA. KIIT has good connectivity. It is near a railway station and an airport.
