It seems you are not putting an effort in theory papers. Any recruiter looks at the overall performance of students. Therefore, you are advised to put the effort in all papers equally to score well.

BCA is a job oriented degree course and you can go for job immediately after BCA in Small and Medium size IT companies. Unfortunately Indian IT industry does not prefer BCA for entry level Developer and Testers role. BCA graduates may get junior developer or Application support jobs. BCA degrees can only help you to get only entry level jobs and will require acquisition of PG degrees such as MCA and M.Sc IT for a meaningful career.

Yes, you can do BCA after commerce but you needed to study mathematics during the BCA programme.

It is a good idea to do BCA from IGNOU. The basic objective of the BCA programme at IGNOU is to open a channel of admission for computing courses for students, who have done the Class 12 and are interested in taking computing/IT as a career. After acquiring the Bachelors Degree (BCA) at IGNOU, there is further educational opportunity to go for an MCA at IGNOU or Masters Programme at any other University/Institute. Also after completing BCA Programme, a student should be able to get entry level job in the field of Information Technology or ITES. All the Best!
