B.Tech: More of mathematics, algorithm designs, knowledge of core computer knowledge, and performance optimization.
BCA: It deals with computer applications. For example, to build a software program for a particular purpose.
B.Tech designs the performance optimized algorithm and BCA implements it in a particular programming language.
This is just a difference with the respect to course work. But, as far as knowledge is concerned, it is up to you how you gather knowledge. A BCA graduate could have more knowledge than a B.Tech graduate and Vice-Vera.
