The difference lies is that you can specialise in certain subject inBCA (H). While as BCA (G) course gives you an overview of all those subjects taught in Honours course. In some universities, in BCA Hons. You study one extra subject in every semester. Bachelor of Computer Applications BCA (Hons. ). BCA Honours is a 4 years graduate degree program, the minimum eligibility is the 10+2 from a recognised school board or its equivalent exam. Some of the top colleges and institutes which provide admission to BCA Honours are as follows: Patna Women's College, Patna.

Admission through entrance exams that are conducted by the various colleges and universities and you can also get admission through merit based. The minimum qualification for BCA is : You should passed +2 at least 60% (some colleges also offer admission at 50%).

After acquiring the Bachelor's Degree (BCA) at IGNOU, there is further educational opportunity to go for an MCA at IGNOU or Master's Programme at any other University/Institute. Also after completing BCA Programme, a student should be able to get entry level job in the field of Information Technology or ITES.

The general eligibility criteria to be eligible for applying for BCA course you must have completed your Higher Secondary (+2) Examination or equivalent (diploma degree), with minimum 50% marks in total and also having Mathematics as subject in the qualifying examination.
