- BDS eligibility criteria
In India, for admission to BDS courses, it is mandatory for student to qualify for a 10 + 2 exam or an equivalent degree with at least 50% from a recognised institution. There is generally only one entrance exam conducted all over India. For the BDS program at the Damage Institute of Research and Dental Science.

- The candidate must have completed 17 Years of age at the time of admission or shall complete this age as on the 31st December of the Admission Year.
- He/ She should be medically fit to undergo the course and practice dentistry.
- Have passed the Karnataka II PUC examination or an equivalent examination in CBSE, ICSE or State Boards with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects and English as one of the languages.
- Have secured 50% Marks in these three subjects and English taken together.
