B.Tech biomedical is dealing with engineering, technology and biological sciences to improve the quality of healthcare, medicine and human life. Biomedical engineers and scientists are responsible for developing, designing and improving medical devices and procedures for efficient diagnosis, operation and treatment of diseases and other health ailments. Biomedical engineering is still in the development stage in India and, therefore, scope is very limited for this field due to the lack of integration between research institutions, hospitals and universities in India. In India, most of the jobs related to biomedical engineering are in non-tech areas such as service, maintenance, customer support, sales and management. Students interested in pursuing a career in research and core development work in Biomedical Engineering must look for jobs in universities, labs and research centers in India or pursue MS and Ph.D. studies in USA, UK and other nations.
On other hand B.Tech food and agriculture are well established courses and provides good job opportunities in government and private sectors. These provides in depth knowledge of the fields like food processing, food packaging, nutrition, storage, etc. Any person who pursues this course gets the edge of being known as food scientist or food technocrat, Agri-business firms, food processing, agricultural research and development firms etc. Civil engineering is a professional engineering discipline that deals with the design, construction, and maintenance of the physical and naturally built environment, including works such as roads, bridges, canals, dams, airports, sewerage systems, pipelines, and railways. A career after civil engineering is highly rewarding. There are jobs that involve supervision, construction, design and analyzes of private as well as public projects, such as dams, highways, canals, water sewage and bridges. The profession demands excellent skills for both administration and supervision of projects. Hence I will go for last option as civil engineering.

For though, there is much hullabaloo about biomedical engineering in India, the study of biomedical Science itself remains a rarity. It refers to the natural and life sciences applied domain, and is used for diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of various human diseases. Related streams include pathology, human biology, cell and molecular biology, biomedical engineering, genetics, epidemiology, immunology, pharmacology, clinical, or applied chemistry. This is a highly dynamic and ever-changing study programme that gives the students the chance to become a part of exciting developments in the field of modern medicine. However, it will be wrong to consider it as an alternative to the study of medicine.

In India, no university is offering B.Tech or BE degrees in engineering and technology. This type degrees in distance education has banned by government of India. Up to 2009 JNTU Hyderabad, Andhra university Visakhapatnam Nagarjuna university Guntur Karnataka university Mysore,and IGNOU New Delhi offered this type degrees. and AMIE of institution of engineers Calcutta also offer this type. In this AMIE is only recognized by government of India and no other university in India having the recognition by HRD ministry.
So, please note no university recognized by government of India and UGC. But, this matter is under the consideration of UGC to allow the universities to offer the graduation and post gradation courses in technical education. If you do any such unrecognized courses those will not useful to get any government jobs and not eligible for higher studies. These are just waste of time and money.
