Candidates need to pass Class 12 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology/ Mathematics and English with at least 50% aggregate (47.5% aggregate for SC/ ST) to apply for College of Biotechnology, DUVASU BTech programme. Besides, Aspirants must have completed the age of 17 years on or before December 31, 2024. The maximum age limit is 25 years (age relaxation of five years for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates).

College of Biotechnology, DUVASU eligibility criteria varies course-wise. Candidates need to complete a minimum of Class 12 to apply for UG courses whereas, graduation is required to apply for PG programmes. Below is the eligibility criteria for all College of Biotechnology, DUVASU courses:

Yes, you are eligible to go for Biotechnology at IIT JAM. This is because maths is not a compulsary subject for Biotechnology. Thus, prepare well to get into IIT JAM. All the best.

Admission to BSc programme is based on a common entrance test conducted by BVDU, namely CET BBT. Candidates, who have completed Class 12 in Science stream, can apply for the same. However, the final selection of students will be based on the marks secured in CET BBT and HSC.
