I am not so aware about ALLMS. Biotechnology is a field of applied biology that involves the use of living organisms and bioprocesses in engineering, technology, medicine and other fields requiring bio products. It aims to deliver high quality courses with strong vocational elements and professional skills development embedded across the curriculum. My brother has done M.Sc. (Hons. ). Biotechnology from Lovely Professional University. He is currently working with Glaxo and this was his campus placement, he always keeps on praising LPU. Eligibility criteria : B.Sc. Biotechnology (3-year integrated course) degree examination of Mumbai University or any other University recognized as equivalent thereto, with at least 6 units in Biotech (i.e. minimum required for majoring in the subject)
OR With three units in Biotechnology at the T.Y.B.Sc in combination with three units of any other major subject at the T.Y.B.Sc
Selection Process : Admission to the course will be purely merit based in accordance with the marks obtained in Biotechnology at the T.Y.B.Sc. examination.
