Biotechnology Engineering

Biomedical engineering: BME is a course which is basically electrical and electronics engineering and Instrumentation engineering concepts applied in medical field. All the instruments you see in hospitals are made and maintained by BME. So BME will mostly be working in hospitals or the instrumentation companies in R&D or other departments
Biotechnology: It is a very broad field under life sciences which encompass Biochemistry, molecular biology, biochemical engineering, bioprocess engineering, genetic engineering, food processing, bioinformatics and so on. It is basically a research oriented subject and on has to do their Ph.D. to specialize in a single domain and get recognised. If you don't want to do a PhD or you don't have the resources to do it you can get a work in a biotech company in production or lab work in some research lab. Which is better?

Abroad is a vast term, you have to first decide where to study. So, start by searching for the countries and universities, and shortlist them. Check the admission requirements, fee and narrow down your choice. Depending on where you want to apply you have to take tests like SAT TOEFL or IELTS, etc. If you want scholarship then its given on merit and determined by the universities themselves based on their norms and criteria. Excellent academic grades, extracurricular activities, SOP, LOR, etc. Are all required both for admission and scholarship. So, for now, use the internet and look for universities you might be interested to study in.
