The duration of Biotechnology Engineering courses is different based on the course level. For UG, 4 years is the ideal duration in general, and for PG courses, you need to invest at least 2 years. Diploma courses after 10th are usually 3 years long, and short-term certificate courses are also of 1-year duration or even less. The highest level of academic degree, a PhD in Biotechnology Engineering can last 3 to 5 years.
