Yes, admissions after June 17th remain open for B.Tech in biotechnology in private colleges. Just go through the entrance exam on date mentioned by various private colleges for biotechnology. You will find some colleges like DPU University, Pune which will conduct exam for it in June.

Admission for B.Tech Biotechnology after class 12th is done on the basis of JEE Mains score. Lateral entry admission in only for engineering Diploma holders from any recognized polytechnic only.

Generally, a person will need a doctoral degree to take up the profession of a microbiologist. One can take up microbiology or any other allied fields during their graduation. The career possibilities for aspirants will increase with a PG degree. Otherwise, there is a possibility of the choices to get limited.
