Most B.Sc Nursing programs in India require you to have studied Biology in 12th. Since you are a Maths student and didn't have Biology, you're generally not eligible for B.Sc Nursing.

Even if you give an entrance exam, they usually test your knowledge in Biology, so it becomes difficult without that background.

If you really want to go for nursing, some states or private colleges might have options for students without Biology, but these are very rare. I'll suggest you to double-check with the specific college or entrance exam details before applying. Best of luck!

BOPEE Eligibility criteria states that the candidate must be a domicile of UT of J&K/UT of Ladakh. The applicant must be at least 17 years old on 31st December of the exam year and not more than 35 years. The aspirant must have passed the qualifying 12th class with minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) for Open Merit category and 40% for reserved categories. English must be a compulsory subject in 12th class.

The UP CNET BSc nursing 2026 eligibility criteria is mentioned below: 

  1. The applicant must be of minimum 17 years of age on or before 31st December 2026
  2. Candidate must have passed (10+2) examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) taken together
  3. English must be a passed subject individually from the recognised board in (10+2) examination
  4. The SC/ST/OBC category who have obtained 40% marks in (PCB) taken together
  5. The applicant must have been declared medically fit by the Medical Board of the Government Medical College or the District CMO
