You can get a Diploma in PGDM, whereas in MBA you can get a Degree. PGDM and MBA are equivalent nowadays, even IIMS also, follow PGDM criteria.

Most of the reputed colleges in India offers Executive MBA only after 5 years of work experience. Some offers with 3 years of experience. Secondly, you need to give entrance exams to get into B-schools. Along with that your profile will also be considered.
