If you're not interested in doing the engineering, then you may go for it. This is a good decision or bad one will be decided by your performance in future. It might be possible that you do very much good in your engineering career or even possible that opposite one happens. So, first of all, look upon your abilities and your strength, that for what purpose you are more suited of. Wish you will have a good decision and have a better future.

As per the eligibility of the course, you need to be 12th & Graduation/DBA/Diploma passed with minimum 6 months of work experience to be eligible to apply for the course.

New Zealand PR is based on the shortage skill list listed in NZ immigration web site. Supply chain management seems to be not there. However that does not mean you should not go for this course. It all depends upon what UG programme you did and if you could get a job related to that studies you may be able to get PR. Again PR depends upon you age, qualification, experience and IELTS marks. If you have good (8 band IELTS then it is possible.
