You will have limited options. You will be accepted to an MBA programme only if you have an outstanding profile. Very good academic grades, excellent extracurricular activities, project work, publications, demonstration of managerial and leadership skills etc. Would be required. On the contrary, there some not so highly ranked universities too but there is no point investing in them especially now when competition is so stiff all around, you will have similar options in India and at half the cost. You have decide as per your preference.

It depends on where you want to go, really. If you feel your quantitative skills are on the weaker side, avoid finance and operations at all costs. For somebody who isn't good at math, sitting a finance test is somewhat like facing Brett Lee on a green pitch. Unplayable. Marketing is pretty interesting. I'd consider marketing communications if I were you. Your B.A. English would come handy there, particularly if you have good writing and ideation abilities. HR is a great field too, particularly if you like dealing with people and have a tiny streak of empathy. Rural Management is a fast-growing discipline. The bottom line, you ask? Avo

Absolutely not! Giving the CAT is a must, only if you are aiming all the IIMs. Else, you can appear for the other exams too like NMAT, CMAT SNAP CET, etc. as per your dream college(s):

Hello! It simply depends upon which B-school you want to get admission into. Those aiming the IIMs must give CAT XLRI accepts only XAT IIFT score is accepted by both the IIFT campuses (New Delhi & Kolkata), and CMAT is accepted by JBIMS, Sydenham, GIM, etc. Preferably it is advised to give 2-3 exams since their difficulty level never remains same and one also has a backup in case he/she falters in one exam. https://www.shiksha.com/mba/articles/20-mba-entrance-exams-you-can-take-this-year-blogId-11473 Kindly visit the given link, it would provide you with more insights.
