Some reference books are not enough, if you're studying for MAT or GMAT especially on your own that is. Firstly, if you're studying on your own, make sure that you spend at least 6 hours a day with at least 4-6 months of determined attention towards your studies. Secondly, there are a lot of YouTube tutorials on the Internet that'll help you do the right kind of preparation and keeping the schedule. Finally, coaching for these exams separately or altogether will cost you a lot, so keep that in mind and fuel that as your passion. If you can study this way, you can make a difference. So don't just go by some reference book by the market.

If you have a decent grip over Maths, Logical Aptitude and English, IPMAT should not be a hard nut to crack. The questions asked in Maths section range from moderate to difficult on the difficulty scale whereas the ones asked in English were all more or less moderate or easy. The question paper usually consists of 60 questions from Maths and Aptitude and 40 questions from English, any person who managed to make 40+ attempts in Maths and 30+ attempts in English with an accuracy rate of around 80% could make it through the AT. Dear Nilasish,
YMCA is much better option than IPU. YMCA is NAAC and NBA accredited and after NIT Kurukshetra, it is the top-rated premium institute in Haryana. The placement percentage is also very high.
