VIT Business School accepts MAT exam percentile for admission to MBA programme. The MAT Cutoff 2024 is 80 for students belonging to the General All India category. In 2023, the VIT Business School cutoff was 80, and in 2022, it was also the same, at 80.

This trend suggests that the MAT percentile has neither seen much change in cutoff nor competition over the past three years.

GD and PI are also important stages in the final selection process for the PGDM/MBA programs at GIBS Business School. GD evaluates a candidate's communication skill, team spirit, leadership qualities, and critical thinking under pressure, while PI evaluates the applicant's personality, motivation, career goals, and overall suitability for the program. Together, these stages enable GIBS to identify well-rounded individuals who not only satisfy academic criteria but also possess the required interpersonal and professional qualities for success in the business world.

For PGDM admission in GIBS Business School, Bangalore, the minimum required scores are comparatively student-friendly. Generally, a "CAT, XAT, or CMAT percentile of around 60" is considered passable, and for "MAT, a score of 64 percentile or above" is usually expected. Since GIBS has an overall holistic approach toward admission, candidates with lower scores may get consideration based on their overall profile, academic background, and performance in the selection rounds.
