From what I have seen, GIBS makes the admission process pretty easy for international students. The team actually guides you step by step for documents, fee payment, visa process, and even small doubts about accommodation and travel. A few of my classmates from abroad shared that they didn't feel lost because the counsellors kept in touch through calls and emails.

From my experience, GIBS offers PGDM in Marketing, Finance, HR, Business Analytics, Entrepreneurship and a few more. The best part is that it is not just classroom theory. Most subjects come with some sort of practical exposure like fieldwork, company projects, startup activities, case studies, and industry sessions.

We also get guest lectures, corporate talks, and mentoring which makes it easier to connect academics with the market. Honestly, the hands-on learning helped me understand placements and career options better because you get a real idea of how things work in companies instead of only writing exams.

From my experience at GIBS, internships and industry projects are not just “mandatory, ” they are kind of the whole vibe here. We don't just study theory and sit for exams — the college actually pushes us to go out and do things in real companies. For PGDM especially, we have internships, live projects, case competitions, and consulting-type assignments that connect directly to what we're learning.
