The critical bottleneck is credit alignment - your 3-year degree must cover the exact number of foundational credits (ECTS equivalents) required in mathematics, statistics, and economics.
Because 3-year degrees yield fewer classroom hours than standard 4-year European degrees, Indian BCom/BBA grads frequently face direct rejections for lacking foundational ECTS credits in mathematics and advanced statistics.

No, you don't necessarily need work experience to apply for PGDM/MBA at GIBS Bangalore. Freshers can apply as well. I studied at GIBS, and from what I've seen, both freshers and people with work experience are considered.
Work experience can be a plus in your profile, but it's not compulsory. I'd just Suggest check the current eligibility details once before applying.

I studied at GIBS Bangalore, so I can share this from my own experience. For me, it wasn't just the classes that made GIBS different. There was a good mix of studies, practical exposure and student life.
We had internships, projects, industry visits and guest sessions.
There were events, clubs and activities apart from regular classes.
The faculty were approachable whenever I needed help or guidance.
I personally liked the green and spacious campus.
Interacting with different students helped me become more confident.
The placement preparation also helped me feel more ready for interviews.
