Appearing for CAT/XAT/GMAT, is a prerequisite to appear for the MICAT exam. Therefore, candidates who applied and appeared for CAT, XAT or GMAT are also required to apply for MICAT and appear for the exam. Submission of the application form for MICAT requires the candidates to pay the registration fee.
Scores in CAT/XAT/GMAT are considered during the selection process. Besides the score in the national level exams, MICAT scores also play a part while shortlisting candidates for admission. Therefore, appearing for MICAT or any national level exam is not an optional stage in the selection process.

No. All candidates have to pay the MICAT application fee in an online mode only. The gatway for MICAT form fee payment can be chosen while paymentg of the application fee. Candidates can use internet banking/credit card/debit card/UPI to pay the MICAT application fee. The authorities will not entertain any requests for offline fee payment. If the candidates face any problems paying the application fee, they must contact the authorities immediately. Failure to pay the application fee before the deadline will lead to the disqualification of the candidature from the MICAT examination process.

Candidates filling the application form for MICAT exam have to pay INR 2,500 as the application fee. MICAT registration fee or application fee remains the same for all the candidates, irrespective of their category. Candidates appearing for both MICAT I and MICAT II hjave to pay the application fee for both the exam phases separately. No concession in the MICAT application fee is given to the candidates applying for both exam phases.

IBSAT is a two-hour Computer-based test (CBT) comprising multiple-choice questions. IBSAT is a computer-based test that is generally conducted over a window of two days in December. Qualified candidates will have to first attend a selection briefing round and then appear for the final selection rounds, including Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds.
